What is the difference between Patek 3700 and 3800?

A key differentiator for the Nautilus 3800 was its movement. Unlike the flagship 3700 model, which was powered by a movement from Jaeger LeCoultre, the 3800 featured Patek Philippe’s own in-house Caliber 335 SC. The Patek Philippe Nautilus reference 3800 was launched in 1981 and discontinued in 2006.

What is the difference between Patek 3700 and 5711?

Seconds hand: The 5711/1A features a central seconds hand, while the 3700/1A has only hour and minute hands. Typography: The 3700/1A uses a bolder font that fits the 1970s style, while the 5711/1A has a more modern typeface. Case: 5711/1A has a slightly thicker case due to its three-part construction. Because of the three-part constructed case, calibre 324 S C movement, the appearance of the 5711/1A is a bit different from the 3700/1A model. It is thicker, it has more space between dial and sapphire crystal (due to the second hand) and has a transparent case back.
